Seniors’ Captain’s Day 2010

At 9am Senior’s Captain Brian Roberts commenced proceedings by leading off his team.  Throughout the day ninety-five teams each of four players followed on.  The final team, including the Club Professional Terry Bunyan completed their round just after 5pm.  What a magnificent turnout!

Everyone enjoyed the occasion and a fine meal waited for all in the Clubhouse at the end of their round. The weather stayed fine throughout the day and the course was in good condition despite the dry summer.  Good scores were recorded and the results were announced by Brian Roberts at the end of the day.  The Captain rounded off the day by presenting the donated prizes and trophies

Congratulations to all who participated and a massive vote of thanks to all the volunteers who assisted during the day to make the event a great success.  As a result of the day’s proceedings and with donations £600.00 was raised for the Senior’s Captain’s Charity – KEETCH COTTAGE CHILDREN’S HOSPICE.
