Russell is a fully qualified member of the PGA. He uses video analysis and the Explanar (swing ring) to provide golfers with the opportunity to develop their game in a simple and effective way.

All lessons will be 1-to-1 with PGA Professional Russell Phillips. Video Analysis and The Explanar will be used for any range sessions (if required).

Beginners - GOLF EXPERIENCE DAY

The Golf Experience Day is a full day in a group with Russell Phillips (maximum 6 people). This day has been designed for people who have not played golf yet or who have little experience in the game. There are a variety of days to choose during Spring once the weather warms up.

The day will start with a long session on the range with the use of Video Analysis and The Explanar (swing ring). After a short tea break we will tackle the short game which comprises of Chipping, Bunker Play and Putting. Lunch will follow with a choice provided on the day for one main meal and drink. Whilst lunch goes down we will discuss each players game and have a look at their swings. The player will have the opportunity to take a copy home with them (own USB stick must be provided). We will then all go out onto the golf course for 9 holes to finish.

The day should last about 7 hours starting at 9:30am. Most dates are weekends but there is one midweek date available.

All this for just £59pp.

Juniors

For juniors aged 6-12 and beginners

JUNIOR CHALLENGE PROGRAMME

The challenge programme is a 5 week course designed to help children develop their golfing skill and knowledge. There are 5 different levels of assessment and each is graded bronze, silver, gold and platinum depending of their points accumulated over the 5 different challenges.

Several new level 1 dates will be starting throughout the new year!

5 weeks cost £40

JUNIOR OPEN DAY

The Junior Open Day is a full day of golf and is ideal for young players or children who wish to try golf out for the first time.  The day comprises of range, chipping and putting games each having a prize for the winning team.  After this its a quick stop for lunch which is then followed by a 3 hole texas scramble on the golf course.  Once everyone is in from the golf course, the presentation will begin and prizes will be awarded to all the players who have won activities throughout the day.

Next date is: Monday 13th February 2012.

Time : 10:00AM - 3:00PM

For juniors aged 11-18 and intermediate/advanced

JUNIOR SQUAD TRAINING

This coaching session seeks juniors who wish to develop their game to a high standard in order to play the main course.  At Aylesbury Vale we are keen to find junior who could potenetially one day join our junior section and represent our club.  Squad training is the gateway to one day be there.

Every Tuesday from 10th JAN - 27th MAR 2012 5:45PM - 6:45PM

£6 each session or £50 for all 12 sessions

JUNIOR 7 HOLE COMPETITION

The perfect opportunity for juniors to learn to venture out onto the golf course in a competitive but friendly environment.  This competition allows players to obtain a handicap which indicates their level of play compare to other golfer.  The handicap system allows players of different skills to fairly compete for the winning prizes.

Next 7 hole competition is Sunday 29th January 2012 First tee 1:30PM, Presentation 3:35PM

Cost for junior members £5, non-members £10

ALL JUNIORS

JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT DAY 

The Junior Development Day is a full day in a group with Russell Phillips (maximum 6 people). This day has been designed for junior aged 8-18 who have at least a little playing experience and who wish to develop their game. There are a variety of days to choose during the Easter Holidays.

The day will start with a session on the range followed by a short game session, which comprises of Chipping, Bunker Play and Putting. Lunch will follow with a drink, Chicken Nuggets, Chips and Baked Beans. We will then all go out onto the golf course for 9 holes.

The day should last about 6 hours starting at 10:30am.

All this for just £39pp.
